Depends.

I modified mine this year because I realized two days in that there was a more meaningful fast I could do.

But if the reason is that it’s “too hard,” (and it’s not a health issue), then I think you need to really examine why you think you should be allowed to modify it.

Question for the Catholics

Do u think it's ok to modify your Lenten fast after Lent has begun?
